Bursting with humor and affection, Ode to a Pug is an entertaining and endearing book that celebrates the precious bond between pets and their owners. In this rhyming poem addressed to her pug, a young woman savors all the sweet and sour moments with her pup, who is at once incurably mischievous and irresistibly adorable. Aside from smelly toots and potty accidents, the pug likes to chew on everything in sight and make a mess around the house. One day the little adventurer's misbehavior pushes the owner to her breaking point. Maybe, it's time to say goodbye. But will she ever have the heart to part with her beloved fur baby? Just think about the innocent look in those enormous eyes!
With hilarious descriptions and comical illustrations, the book vividly and accurately represents the profound love a pug owner has for her four-legged family member, despite all the challenging chores she has to deal with on a daily basis. It may easily resonate with any dog parent with similar experiences. A pup's cuteness and companionship will ultimately outweigh any trouble it causes.
