My Review:
Bruce the Spruce enjoys being in the spotlight every Christmas for the past 20 years. His dream life as the family's beloved Christmas Tree however, comes to a sudden halt when he gets replaced by a new imitation spruce tree. Being left on the sidewalk, heartbroken, Bruce involuntarily starts an adventure around the New York City, one filled with uncertainties and surprises. Just as he is mourning over the loss of his good old days, he accidentally runs into his idol, The Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree. The world famous spruce helps Bruce realize the true meaning of Christmas trees and get ready for the new chapter in his life.
This rhyming picture book is a fun and heartwarming read perfect for the whole family to share during the holiday season. With a captivating storyline and cute main character, Bruce the Spruce prompts us to consider what should be valued most about Christmas, to cherish the wonderful memories we may have about our families, and to take pride in bringing joy to others.
