A Cinderella Story: Starstuck, the sixth installment in the A Cinderella Story movie series, is out on DVD today! Set in Dreary, Idaho, this all-new musical stars Bailee Madison (A Week Away) as our modern-day Cinderella Finley Tremain, a country girl with Hollywood dreams, and Michael Evans Behling (All American) as her charming romantic interest, Jackson Stone.

Synopsis:

Finley Tremaine, a small-town farm girl, longs to spread her wings and soar as an aspiring performer. When a Hollywood film crew arrives in her sleepy town, she is determined to land a role in the production and capture the attention of handsome lead actor Jackson Stone. Unfortunately, a botched audition forces her to change course. Now, disguised as cowboy “Huck,” Finley finally gets her big break. But can she keep the charade a secret from everyone, including her evil stepmother and devious step-siblings?

In celebration of the DVD's official release, Warner Bros. Home Entertainment kindly sent us a copy for review, along with a box of freshly baked cookies featuring cute farm animals and elements from the movie.

Synopsis

Before we received the new DVD in the mail, we started some fun #SwanPrincessAdventures with a plush toy featuring Puffin from the movie.

We took Puffin on a road trip and made sure he buckled up for safety.

What is the best place to be on a hot summer day? The beach of course. The playground at the beach, to be more exact. Puffin had great fun going down the slides and playing on the swing.

Puffin would love a picnic at the beach as well, especially when he thought of all the fish within easy reach.

Puffin got all ready to take a dip in the sea and he even chose to put on a cool pair of Batman goggles. Puffin loved the adventures we planned for him so much that he decided to stay with us and watch the new movie together.

Synopsis:

My kids were very excited to watch The Emoji Movie for our family movie night. They were totally fascinated by the colorful, fanciful and eventful digital world inside Alex's smartphone and were fully immersed in it for as long as the movie went. I was amazed by the wild and bold imagination of the creators of the movie. The somewhat familiar but mundane smartphone screen suddenly got a life and meaning of its own. The crazy adventure of Gene, Jailbreak, and Hi-5 unraveled something new and interesting about the commonly used real-life apps like Dropbox, YouTube, Candy Crush and more. My favorite scene of the movie is when Jailbreak learned to release her inner self and master the freestyle dance moves when the three of them got inside the Just Dance mobile game.

As fans of the Spookley book series, my boys were really excited to see their beloved square pumpkin in animation. Fond of Spookley's cute look, they felt upset when he got ridiculed by Big Tom and Little Tom; they felt sad when Spookley failed the Jack-a-Lympics miserably; they cheered for Spookley as he courageously saved everyone against the strong winds; and they felt very proud of Spookley when he finally won the respect from his fellow patch-mates.

The movie is well paced and has the perfect length to hold the little viewers' attention from beginning to end. The educational messages are clear and easy to get through. It encourages children not to be afraid to be different and to learn to embrace their differences, as what makes you different also makes you special. It also teaches about kindness, courage, friendship, sportsmanship, gratitude and tolerance. It helps stop bullying before it begins. Apparently, Spookley the Square Pumpkin has been a long time Halloween tradition for many families for a good reason.
