My Review:

Full of fantasy and festivity, Fairy Day Games is a fanciful and delightful fairy tale about friendship, kindness, acceptance and inclusion. On one moonlit night, a young girl peeks inside a fallen tree trunk and discovers a miniature magical world, where fairies, sprites, gnomes, imps and more are singing and dancing to celebrate their biggest event of the year. She imagines herself shrinking, joining the party, feasting on pink cotton candy and playing funny games with her fairy friends.

In this imaginative story, rhyming verses and whimsical paintings go hand in hand. Together, they draw young readers into a fantasized fairyland where creatures in different forms and colors mix and mingle and where love and friendship fill the air. Instead of being marginalized as an outsider, the narrator is warmly welcomed and kindly included in all the festive activities. The message about kindness and acceptance is loud and clear. The joy that diversity and inclusion bring can be seen and sensed. The way the story ends invites creative minds to extend it with their own imagination.
