Synopsis:

My Review:
Set in an unusually cold winter in Fort Worth, Texas, the film features a real-life mother-son team who refuses to give in to emotional turmoil and financial hardships caused by the disappearance of their loved one suffering a mental health relapse. Nor do they give up the search or hope of their reunion. Moreover, they get to see beyond their own misfortunes, offer what they can to help those in need, and manage to mobilize support from the entire community, including churches, schools, businesses and individuals.
Well-acted and full of ups and downs, the movie is incredibly heartwarming and uplifting, while keeping the viewer's interest from beginning to the very end. It inspires us to give back to our community in creative ways, to get our children actively involved in acts of kindness, and not to give up hope at times of adversity. It's amazing to witness a simple idea turn into a viable charitable cause. It's the perfect family-friendly film to watch around Christmas, the season of giving!
