MckLinky Blog Hop Week 3

I'm finally able to join in the weekly MckLinky blog hop fun! The first week I missed it by one day. The second week I was on vacation and away from the computer. No more regrets for week 3, the theme of which is THREE THINGS YOU DIDN'T KNOW ABOUT ME.

#1: I don't follow deals. Despite my passion for freebies and giveaways, I've never considered myself a deal person. I admire those ladies who come up with crazy combination of coupons, deals and cashbacks at CVS, Walgreens, Target, etc. But I'm not really into the grocery game and use coupons only casually. I rarely stock up on sale items. I could have saved more for my everyday shopping but I choose to be content with what I have now.

#2: I don't wear makeup. I love testing and reviewing skin care products, but not so much about cosmetics. The truth is I don't know how to wear makeup and I seldom have the need to (being in casual settings most of the times). I'm a bit concerned about how I would look at BlogHer. Please, please don't laugh at me when you see me there;)

#3: I don't drink or smoke. This is something I'm quite proud of myself. Although it can sometimes be an obstacle to blending it at a party, I'm happy with my good health and huge money savings :-D (No offense to those of you who enjoy moments of indulgence in life.) So you can rest reassured that my blog covers no topics with age restrictions.

Happy Mother's Day

Happy Mother's Day to all current and future moms! How did you celebrate this special holiday? I just came back from my parents' place. My dear mom and my son's mom (oh yeah, that's me) not only received lovely flowers, but got to take a full day off household chores! Hubby cooked Salmon for dinner and the little guy played music for us with his LeapFrog guitar. I wish every day were Mother's Day!
