Guest Post: Beat the Summer Blues

This is a guest post written by Sierra.

Yes, the summer time is a time when most of us feel happy. After all, the sun is shining, you might have exciting vacations planned, and you’re anticipating trying out a new summer hobby that will keep you motivated to try new things. But, what if you’re feeling blue during the summer time? Unexpected things do happen, such as losing a loved one, work not going as you had hoped, or maybe you’re struggling with awful bouts of PMS. Whatever the case may be, don’t let the summer blues get the best of you. Here are some ways to look forward and enjoy the summer while it is still here.

Try Natural Supplements That Will Even Out your Hormones

If you’re trying to get your hormones stabilized because something feels off, it’s not only important to chat with your gyno, but there are other options to consider as well. You can try natural supplements such as agnus castus. Agnus castus is a safe and effective way to treat PMS and it is used to restore hormonal imbalance as well. Since it helps make your menstrual cycle more regular and stabilizes your emotions, it’s easier to enjoy a pleasant summer and activities without dealing with hormonal issues! You can order agnus castus online here.

Chat with a Friend and Focus on the Positive

Even though it’s easier said than done, when things get rough instead of throwing in the towel, pick up your cell phone and call a friend. They’re a lot cheaper than a therapist and they also should be more than willing to talk to you when you’re going through a tough spot. Friends are there to help you through the hard times, so when it gets rough pick up the phone and talk to them. They’ll hopefully be able to offer valid advice and help you focus on the positive as opposed to the bad situation that you’re going through.

Revamp Your Wardrobe, Spoil Yourself, and Have Some Fun!

Simple activities and having fun make the world of difference when you’re not feeling yourself. Distract yourself from a discouraging situation by getting a pedicure or manicure (or both!), going shopping, or arranging some fun activities with friends. Reminding yourself about the little joys in life will help you maintain a brighter outlook on life and even though you may not be feeling your best, hopefully some fun activities will put a smile back on your face.

Wow, the timing of this post couldn't have been better. I have definitely been suffering from the summertime blues over the past week or so. I feel it could be related to hormones, as I've been extremely emotional. I have tried spoiling myself a little and having some fun. Revamping my wardrobe was one of my choices. Thanks for sharing.
