The series consists of carefully selected classical music for your little one's Play Time, Activity Time, Story Time, and Bed Time. While it is recommended that you expose your child to a wide variety of music, classical music is believed by some researches to stimulate the brain in a way to cause "The Mozart Effect", which promotes long-term improvements in spatial reasoning skills. Inspired by this theory, The Little Music Lovers collection selects musical pieces based on their melodic content and their potential impact on enhancing early childhood development.
Mozart: Smart Music for Play Time features concertos and serenades by Mozart, who is known for his playful and whimsical melodies. Bach: Smart Music for Activity Time provides a selection of Bach's most recognizable pieces, which will create a fun and exciting atmosphere for you and your child to spend time together. Beethoven: Smart Music for Story Time makes your stories more memorable with the composer's passionate and vibrant melodies, such as "Moonlight Sonata", "Fur Elise", and "The Last Rose of Summer". Lullabies: Smart Music for Bed Time helps your child get a better sleep with relaxing and soothing music. Which parent wouldn't love that?
Thanks to BeyondPR, I was sent a Little Music Lovers Sampler CD, which includes two tracks from each of the four CDs in the series. It gives us a sense of what to expect in the whole series and adds a delightful note to my baby's daily activities. Mozart is my personal favorite, but my child seems to be more attracted by the Beethoven pieces. He also loves the lullabies and even attempted to hum along. I believe in the power of music and I highly recommend this series to parents who want to give their babies and toddlers a head start on developing essential skills.
Little Music Lovers CD's are available at Barnes & Noble, Borders, Best Buy, Amazon, iTunes and LittleMusicLovers.com. You may have the option to buy each CD or a single track.
