We're entering the final week of the Looney Tunes Eating Right Kids project, but that doesn't mean that our conversation about healthy eating stops here. Healthy Eating is a long-time endeavor for the entire family. I hope you've enjoyed exchanging ideas with fellow moms and dads about tips to foster healthy eating habits for young kids.
As we discussed earlier, one of the major challenges parents face is to come up with new healthy recipes. Why don't help each other out by swapping favorite recipes for snacks and meals? Here's my son's favorite snack. And it's easy to make.
Mixed Fruits Yogurt
1. Cut kiwi fruit, banana, strawberry and peach (or your kid's favorite fruits) into tiny cubes;
2. Mix them up;
3. Pour vanilla or original flavored yogurt over the mix and stir;
4. Ready to serve!
Do you think you kid will love it too? Feel free to share your or your kid's favorite recipes. I'd love to try them out.
