SproutBaby Organic Baby Food Review

SproutBaby is my new destination for healthy and eco-friendly baby products. They have a nice selection of organic baby food, BPA-free baby feeding gear, organic baby skin care, and gift sets. A couple of weeks ago, I received a variety 6-pack of Sprout Foods for review. Sprout Foods are a new line of organic baby food developed by celebrity chef Tyler Florence. They unite flavor and nutrition with certified organic ingredients and unique recipes. They are free from artificial flavors, colors and preservatives.

We were given the opportunity to try six different flavors: Roasted Banana, Sweet Peas, Oatmeal with Roasted Cinnamon Applesauce, Sweet Baby Carrots, Apples & Mango, Sweet Peas & Garden Green Beans, and Baked Sweet Potato. My baby seemed to like the Oatmeal with Roasted Cinnamon Applesauce best. I had a bite of the Baked Sweet Potato. Hmm...it tasted awesome! Not only do Sprout Foods provide a rich source of vitamins and fiber for babies, but they are also free from potential allergens including milk, nuts, egg, soy, wheat, gluten, fish and shellfish, which means they are safe for solid food beginners.

Another neat feature of Sprout Foods is that they come in resealable pouches, which are easier to ship and store than glasses. More importantly, pouch packaging is expected to reduce waste, and to reduce energy consumption in the manufacturing and transportation processes. I learned from Sprout Foods that "the energy (fossil fuels) used over the entire life of the glass package for its manufacture and transport far exceeds the energy that goes into the manufacturing and transporting of a pouch package".

If you need high quality, healthy, tasty and convenient baby food like Sprout Foods on a regular basis, I'd suggest you join the SproutBaby Club to receive exclusive member benefits and savings.

Thanks a lot to SproutBaby and The Product Review Place for this great review opportunity!
