New Wisk with Stain Spectrum™ Technology: Morning Routine Lab

Before I walk you through my final experiment as a Wisk Beta Blogger, I'd like to share with you the latest commercial for New Wisk with Stain Spectrum™ Technology.

Everyone has a morning routine. From my own experience, a mom's morning routine is primarily about taking care of her child, getting him fed, getting him ready for school, etc. Well, the new Wisk detergent encourages moms to carve out some well-deserved "me-time" in the morning by helping them tackle stains like the oil-based lip gloss stain. I don't usually wear makeup, but lip gloss is the must-have beauty item in my purse and I do enjoy brightening up my face with a dab of my favorite lip color.

Oil stain is one of the most common tough stains we encounter on a daily basis. I believe everyone who does the laundry would love some help with removing oil stains. Let's see how New Wisk with Stain Spectrum™ Technology did the trick in my morning routine lab. Unlike in previous experiments, I was fully confident that I would get the desired results now that I had witnessed the power of Wisk's new technology for the past few months.

Here's a snapshot of the new package I received from Wisk. It includes a chic toiletry bag, a compact mirror, a hand towel, a tube of lip gloss, and a new bottle of Wisk laundry detergent.

Step 1: Use the compact mirror to apply some lip gloss.

Step 2: Pucker up and blot the excess with the hand towel. I intentionally waited a while for the stain to dry because we all know fresh stains are easier to treat than old ones. I wanted to put Wisk to a tougher test.

Step 3: Pre-treat the stain with Wisk.

Step 4: Rub the stain for 15-30 seconds. You can see that the stain already started to fade at this stage.

Step 5: Rinse the stain under warm water until there are no more suds visible.

Last step: Now I have my nice clean towel back. Yay! Way to go, new Wisk! You are amazing!

Besides the Wisk Deep Clean I have been experimenting with, Wisk comes in five stain-fighting varieties: Coldwater Power, Colorsafe Bleach, High Efficiency, and Fresh Boost. I look forward to trying Wisk Coldwater Power as I use cold water for my laundry most often.

New Wisk with Stain Spectrum™ Technology: Carbohydrate Lab

One of the fun activities for the sports season is a tailgate party, during which you may enjoy yummy food hot off the grill as well as cool breezes outdoors. The ketchup squeeze intended to add flavor to your burger, however, might end up adding color to your favorite t-shirt. Such accidents are extremely likely to happen to your little sports fan and condiment lover. No worries. The new Wisk with Stain Spectrum™ Technology can help you clean up the mess with a snap and I can show you how.

The new Wisk is designed to fight all of the major stain groups including proteins, carbohydrates and oils. Such notorious culprits of tough stains as ketchup, honey mustard and BBQ sauce all fall into the carbohydrate stain group. I was provided with a set of tools to test if Wisk with Stain Spectrum™ Technology could completely remove carbohydrate stains.
My second Wisk package includes a kid-sized t-shirt, a small hamburger press, a basting brush, two packets of Hunt's ketchup, and a mini cooler. I was instructed to paint with ketchup onto the new t-shirt and use Wisk to clean the stain. To be honest, I was quite skeptical before I took the experiment. I was afraid that the nice shirt would be ruined during this tough test. Let's see how it went.

Step 1: Paint a swoosh onto the new t-shirt using the basting brush and ketchup.
Step 2: Remove excess ketchup.

Step 3: Pre-treat/cover the entire stain with Wisk laundry detergent.
Step 4: Rub the stain for 15-30 seconds and let sit for 5 minutes to allow the Stain Spectrum™ Technology to penetrate the fibers. Oops. I made a mess and actually expanded the stained area. I was really worried during this step.
Step 5: Hand rinse under lukewarm water. To my delight, the stains quickly dissolved into water.
Last step: Check out the cleaned shirt! I could hardly believe my eyes! The Wisk detergent did work magic and restored the shirt to its original look, as if it had never been stained before. I was totally amazed and convinced by the powerful effects of the Stain Spectrum™ Technology! Drum rolls for the new Wisk!

The experiments have been so much fun. I really look forward to conducting more. I strongly encourage you to try out new Wisk with Stain Spectrum™ Technology and witness the magical effects yourself.

New Wisk with Stain Spectrum™ Technology: Protein Lab

Last month, I told you about the newly launched Wisk with Stain Spectrum™ Technology and the exciting project I'm participating in for the next couple months. Did you notice the hot red bottles in the laundry detergent section of your grocery store? If not, remember to look for them next time you shop. They might be sparkling on the shelf :)

I received my first Wisk package a few days ago and was a bit surprised by what was inside. Besides a bottle of new Wisk, there was also a Stain Lab Pack, including Protein-Stained Swatch, Dropping Pipette, Plastic Beaker, Goggles, Wisk Button and kid-sized Lab Coat.

 As the Stain Spectrum™ Technology is expected to tackle all types of stains, I was sent on a mission to test if new Wisk can live up to its product claim. I would play lab scientist for a few minutes and conduct an experiment for Protein Stains, more specifically grass stain. My son would be my little assistant. He was very excited about his new costume, although the coat was way too big for him.

Step 1: Fill the plastic beaker with warm water.

Step 2: Pour a small amount of Wisk into the cap, dip the pipette in, and fill it half way with laundry detergent.

Step 3: Use the filled pipette to draw on the grass-stained swatch. We love Superman, so initial S got on the swatch.
Step 4: Wait a few seconds for Wisk with Stain Spectrum™ Technology to work its magic. Then place the swatch in the beaker and swish around. You can see the grass stain start to dissolve in water.

Last step: Check the results! Voilà! The grass stain was successfully removed! Kudos to the new Wisk with Stain Spectrum™ Technology! No more worries about the green stain that often shows up on the knee of your kid's favorite pants.

Feel free to visit Wisk.com for more useful information about the new detergent and follow Wisk on Facebook and Twitter for timely updates.

New Wisk with Stain Spectrum™ Technology

Over the past few decades, we have witnessed technology bringing drastic changes to all aspects of our lives--communication, computation, travel, trading, entertainment, and more. The release of new Wisk® with Stain Spectrum™ Technology has prompted me to think about how technology has redefined the way we do laundry. Nowadays, not only do we have machines that help us do the dirty job automatically, we are also equipped with powerful detergents capable of fighting tough stains.

Did you know that Wisk® was the first liquid laundry detergent introduced to market in 1956? It's hard to believe, but Wisk® has been cleaning America’s laundry for over 50 years! This Retro "Ring Around The Collar" Wisk Commercial reminded me of how hard my mom had been trying to keep the collars and cuffs of our white shirts clean. I remember her experimenting with various tricks and techniques like soaking dirty spots in detergent, scrubbing them on a wash board, and applying white toothpaste before the fabric went dry. But still some stains were impossible to remove, especially during summer.

Starting August, 2010, Wisk® will be ushering in a new era in laundry detergent history with an upgraded formula featuring Stain Spectrum™ Technology. Once again, Wisk is revolutionizing the way we fight stains with science and technology. New Wisk provides a powerful clean by utilizing enzymes and cleaning agents that target the full range of stains on a molecular level.

Among hundreds of different stains, most fall into the following three groups:
* Carbohydrates such as milk chocolate
* Proteins such as grass
* Oils such as peanut butter

The other groups of stains include:
* Bio such as blood
* Bleachable such as coffee
* Particulate such as dirt
* Synthetic such as ink

No matter which type of stains you encounter, new Wisk® with Stain Spectrum ™Technology will have you covered. As a mom, I'm constantly faced with the challenge to tackle stains resulting from food spills, dirt and mud play, coloring games, or potty training accidents. I would feel greatly embarrassed if my child had to wear clothes with visible stains on them. I'd readily embrace any new laundry product that will make my life easier. Thanks to One2One Network and the Sun Products Corporation, I will be among the first to try out new Wisk detergent in the red-hot bottle! I will be writing a series of posts in the next couple months to fill you in on more details about my new adventure.

New Wisk is now available at major retailers nationwide, such as Walmart, Target and Kroger, with a suggested retail price of $5.99 for a 50 fl oz. bottle, which cleans about 32 loads.
