WELCOME to icefairy's Treasure Chest and feel free to dig through my treasures. My name is Bing, a mom to a super active toddler boy. In the bloggy and online community however, I'm better known by my nickname, icefairy, because I'm so in love with this name that I use it wherever possible.

I started blogging initially because I wanted to share all the nice freebies and giveaways I found online. Now my blog has developed into what you may call a Grab Bag type of blog. I cover all family-friendly topics with a primary focus on product reviews and giveaways. I also blog about parenting challenges, frugal living, and healthy lifestyles. I'm always excited to be among the first to try new products and it makes me even happier to hand out free prizes to my lovely readers. My favorite product categories to cover here include beauty, fashion, toys, healthy food, eco-friendly products, and anything related to children.

They have quite a number of nice giveaways with relatively fewer entries, which means better chances to win for those who enter. On top of that, it's also a great source for hot freebies and contests. Ultimate Blog Party 2009

It's spring time, perfect party time! Building on the huge success last year, Janice and Susan at 5 Minutes for Mom have organized another Ultimate Blog Party for 2009, which runs through the week of March 20th-27th. It is THE blogging event of the year. I simply can't resist the temptation to join in the fun! It's such a great way to get to know other mom bloggers and win some cool prizes. Now let me introduce myself. My name's Bing, but I'm more than happy to be recognized by my nickname, icefairy, which I use in almost all the online communities I belong to unless it's already taken. Chances are you may already know me somewhere :P. I'm a happily married mom to a super cute 10-month-old boy.

I started blogging just less than a month ago, so I've got a lot to learn from all of you! I used to have some misconceptions about the bloggy world until I discovered so many wonderful mom blogs that introduce me to new things and give me the chance to win cool stuff. I feel the urge to share all the nice things I find with the rest of the blogosphere. Right now my blog is primarily listing great freebies and bloggy giveaways, but my goal is to expand it to include product reviews and my very own giveaways. I look forward to getting tips from you about how to get to that level. I'll start by writing reviews about the prizes I won from the giveaways. Yay!!!
