SuGoi Kids Reviews

One of my new hobbies as a mom is to dress up my kid. That's why I love SuGoi Kids, where I can purchase stylish designer clothes at significantly discounted prices (40%-70% off regular retail prices). SuGoi Kids is a mom-owned upscale online children's boutique featuring top European and American boutique brands including Luna Luna Copenhagen, Enchanted Enfant, Jottum, Kingsley, Catimini, Lola et Moi, Lelli Kelly, and many more. Run by a mom who "has been addicted to finding great deals on excellent quality merchandise", the store is dedicated to helping moms provide the best for their kids without breaking their bank.

The word "Sugoi" means "AWESOME" in Japanese. M. Bereal, the mom behind SuGoi Kids believes that all kids are awesome and that they deserve awesome clothes. Take a look at what she handpicked for my son: one pair of ALPHABET Retro Exploration Thick Canvas Grey Pants (made in France) and a CROCODILE CREEK Dinosaur Back Sack (currently out of stock). She also kindly enclosed a surprise gift for me--a cute ring from Two's Company. Thank you so much, M!

I have to admit that I'm not familiar with European brands, but I can tell that the Alphabet pants are well-made with comfortable and durable fabric. I love in particular the print and embroidered design on leg and patch. The elastic waist also enables the pants to "grow" with the kid. I intentionally ordered a slightly bigger size so that they would be perfect to wear in winter. The Crocodile Creek Dinosaur Back Sack has a cute and colorful design. It features water resistant lining, a hidden inner pocket and two side vents. The fabric is free from PVC & Phthalate free. My son was instantly attached to his new bag and filled it up with his favorite toys and board books.

I spent a fair amount of time browsing SuGoi Kids. It has a simple and modern web design, which makes it extremely easy to shop by price range and by category. Another great feature is that it charges a low flat rate for shipping: $5 USA and $10 international. You can save even more by buying in bulk. SuGoi Kids is easily accessible through various social media outlets. You may follow them on Twitter and Facebook, use live chat for instant help, or email customer service at info@sugoikids.com (M usually responded to my inquiries within minutes). Besides shirts and pants for boys, SuGoi Kids carries many stylish dresses for little girls. I'm sure you will find something awesome for your cutie!

Disclosure: I received free products from SuGoi Kids to facilitate my review. I did not receive any monetary compensation for this post and thoughts and opinions expressed are my own.

New FTC Regulations Affecting Review Bloggers

Blog Friendly PR just informed me about the finalized new FTC regulations that affect bloggers who conduct product reviews. I'd like to share them with you.

The revised FTC’s Guides Concerning the Use of Endorsements and Testimonials in Advertising require that blogger who receives cash or in-kind payment to review a product must disclose the material connections they share with the seller of the product or service. The disclosure must be "clear and conspicuous", no matter what form it will take. Violators may be subject to injunctions or fines. A blogger who receives a freebie without the advertiser knowing and reviews it on her site would not violate FTC guidelines. Read more details here.

I've noticed that a lot of reviewers have already been following these guidelines. Personally I think the disclosure requirement is fair and reasonable and I'm happy to comply. If you're new to blog reviews or haven't started disclosing what you receive in exchange for a review, you may want to keep these new regulations in mind when you write your next review.
