My Review:

Through a series of magical adventures animated by whimsical paintings, Luella's Library presents an imaginative and exhilarating fantasy aimed to amplify the incredible joy of reading.

As the only one who loves to read and therefore has to read alone, Luella invites her best friend Lino over to check out her favorite place: the library in her home. To demonstrate the magical power of her books, Luella takes Lino's hand and jumps into a book called The Lost Leprechaun, where they go back in time and embark on a mission to help Mr. Leprechaun find his pot of gold. They have to constantly search for portals in order to advance to the next page of the book while new encounters and challenges await them on each new page.

From a medieval town to a ballroom filled with dressed-up dancers, from the open sea to a dark cave, or from a cottage to a forest inhabited by mythical creatures, young readers, by following the lead of Luella and Lino, get to visit so many wild places and engage in such fun activities as dancing, baking, boating, riding and even flying. The hunt for portals and the unpredictability of what each portal leads to greatly enhance the enchantment and excitement of the adventures with a strong element of surprise. This clever setup of the story shows that a well-written book is no less captivating than an electronic game.

While the story inspires kids to read and imagine, the stunning artwork exemplifies the visual appeal of a picture book. With rich colors, lively characters, and fascinating details, the illustrations make the fictional world and events feel so real and concrete.

Charming and creative, Luella's Library helps fuel the love for reading from an early age, and may motivate reluctant readers to pick up a book and start a new adventure.
