My Review:

With cartoon style paintings presented in a creative format, Tiki Time: It's My Turn takes us on an exhilarating and spellbinding journey that demonstrates the power of family, friendship and self-growth. 

On his way to finding his good old self, Tiki encounters a magical spirit who grants him special powers of time travel, super strength and spuer speed after instructing him to confront King Lauia, an evil time traveling sorcerer who plans to steal the sacred Toku mask that keeps the village from falling into a dark frozen state. Tiki's sister and friends, each equipped with some special talent, volunteer to join his heroic mission to save TikiTown. Has Team Tiki gotten what it takes to defeat the villain and his army?

Aside from its intense colors and wacky characters, the book leaves an intriguing first impression by inviting the reader to turn it and flip the pages like those in a wall calendar. Each picture is displayed in landscape mode and accompanied by text printed in the bottom section. The graphics are engaging and amusing, while the story is well-paced and easy to follow.
