My Review:

Chipper Makes Merry is a delightful, heartwarming story about a young Arctic Fox named Chipper, who tries to solve his friends' problems in stealth mode. Things don't always work the way they are supposed to, however. Will Chipper stand up to the challenge and figure out the best approach to spreading cheer around town?

With neat rhymes and beautiful illustrations, the book gets us acquainted with a number of lovely animals living on the snow-covered Arctic Land, where extreme weather causes shortage of food and other life-threatening issues. Told in a playful tone, the story encourages young readers to be kind, caring, observant, and to become creative, thoughtful problem solvers.

Chipper has got good intentions and great plans, but the delivery of this friendly gifts still needs improvement. Thankfully, he is not intimidated by failures and his efforts motivate his friends to join his mission. His experience shows us that acts of kindness may take practice, but they are totally worthwhile. Spreading joy can bring us more joy and happiness. Morgan is a fun wife, and imperfect mom of 3 crazy kiddos and 2 little lemon (problematic) dogs. She tries to live her strengths the best she can. She likes to say she is creative, not crafty. Morgan is a homemade Halloween costume type of mom. She lets her kids mix the play doh. She bakes fun birthday cakes (cutely, but far from perfection). She loves a homemade valentine and a school project. Chipper the Fox is an extension of Morgan's creative strength. Originally designed as character to create merry during the holiday season, Chipper has grown and developed into a story of determination and love.
