Trudeau’s FUEL Collection: Eco-Friendly Lunch Box Essentials

Packing your own homemade lunch to school or work not only helps you save money, but may also help promote your health with fresher ingredients and less processed food. I was given the opportunity to try out three products from the FUEL collection: Classic Lunch Bag, Stainless Steel Food Jar and Snap Cutlery Set. I love the overall look and feel of these products, especially the use of the kiwi green color, which is gender neutral, fashionable, and representative of green living.

The Fuel Classic Lunch Bag adds tremendous style to the iconic brown bag. It's big enough to hold both food and drink and its size is easily adjustable with the Velcro strip, which also provides a secure enclosure for the contents inside. The Fuel Stainless Steel Food Jar is vacuum insulated to keep anything inside hot or cold for up to six hours. It has the perfect size (12 oz) to pack school lunch for my oldest son. My favorite feature is its wide mouth design, which helps prevent food spills when filling it up. It also makes it super easy to clean. The leak proof lid is easy to open and close, so there is no need to worry about my child not being able to access his lunch on his own. Retail price: $24.99.

The Fuel Snap Cutlery Set includes a stainless steel fork and spoon with polypropylene handles that snap together for safety and easier storage. They are sturdy and easy to use for both kids and adults. Available in Kiwi and Coconut. Retail price: $5.99.
