Ingenuity Cozy Coo Sway Seat Review #DDDivas

Parents have been advised to never leave their babies out of sight. But I found it practically impossible when I was looking after the baby on my own. I had to put the baby down when I needed to wash my hands or to cook a meal in the kitchen. I was so excited to be given the opportunity to review the Ingenuity Cozy Coo Sway Seat, where I can have my baby soothed and entertained temporarily without worrying about his safety.

First, I was a bit surprised at the compact size of its packaging, which means it can be easily stowed up when not in use. It weighs less than I expected too. The assembly was simple and straightforward. It took me less than an hour to put everything together and the sway seat is ready to go!

The Ingenuity Cozy Coo Sway Seat features:
  • 5-Point Harness
  • 3-position Recline
  • Cradle Motion
  • Music and Sounds of Nature
  • Toy Mobile
  • Soft Cushioned Seat,, Machine Washable
  • A/C Powered or  Battery-Powered
I really love the gender neutral fabric design and the luxurious, comfortable look and feel of the seat. The removable bolster and headrest make it possible to accommodate babies of different sizes and at different developmental stages. The easily adjustable seat recline also helps find the most comfortable position for your baby.

My favorite feature is that the sway seat can be powered by either A/C electricity or batteries. It's more convenient and helps save money considerably. With the A/C power option, I can let my baby enjoy the soft music and automated rocking service without concerns over the cost of batteries! The seat is harnessed in a way very similar to an infant car seat, so you can enjoy the peace of mind that your baby is safe and secure when properly positioned.

I also love that the product gives you great control over how it is going to work. The music volume and sway speed can be adjusted to your baby's liking. You can switch between music and nature sounds. You can turn on the vibration mode in addition to the cradle motion. There is even a timer that allows the swing to turn off on its own.

My baby seemed to enjoy his new "sitter". He was attracted by the toy mobile and tried to reach the plush lions from time to time. He smiled or even giggled when the seat was rocking, looking as if he were on a fun ride. Now this has become his favorite place to be when the rest of our family are having dinner at the table. Everyone is happy!

The only things that I wish the product had are wheels that could make it easier to move the seat around the house. It would be nice, but not necessary, if the toy mobile can spin like a crib mobile.

The Ingenuity Cozy Coo Sway Seat is available at Target.com for $119.99 with FREE shipping. It makes an excellent baby gift that lasts from birth to 6 months.
