"Community" is a smart comedy series about a band of misfits who attend Greendale Community College. It stars Joel McHale (The Soup), Alison Brie (Mad Men), John Oliver (The Daily Show), Yvette Nicole Brown, Danny Pudi, Gillian Jacobs, Donald Glover (30 Rock), Ken Jeong (The Hangover) and Chevy Chase ("Chuck").
Have you ever thought about this question: What does Christmas mean to you? In this special episode of "Community", the meaning of Christmas is lost and Abed(Danny Pudi) is determined to find it. When he wakes up in stop-motion animation, he takes it as a sign that he and the group should re-discover the meaning of Christmas. Jeff (Joel McHale) and Britta (Gillian Jacobs) become growingly concerned about Abed's mental health and enlist the help of Professor Duncan (John Oliver). The group goes on an adventure into Abed's winter wonderland and unravel the truth behind Abed’s madness.
Thanks to One2One Network, I had the opportunity to preview this episode. The animation crew did a great job of keeping the witty, humorous tone of the show. I wouldn't say the characters are likable, but they are certainly unique, consistent with their image of being a group of misfits. To me, the music and songs stand out from this episode and really helped the plot to progress. The ending really touches my heart. I strongly recommend you to watch it live and to find out the true meaning of Christmas!
