Welcome to the third and final weekly movie trivia giveaway in honor of TCM's 31 Days of Oscar festival! If you're new to this event, please read my introduction post. The answer to last week's trivia is American Beauty (1999). Almost all of you got it right. You're so good at this! Here's this week's question:

This award winning, however, scandalous movie, stars Frank Sinatra, Montgomery Clift, Burt Lancaster and Ernest Borgnine, is an epic tale of pre WWII enlisted men, their women and the grim destiny that overtook them all. Which movie is it? Hint: This film is known for the classic scene between Burt Lancaster and Deborah Kerr in the rushing water on the beach.
