BooJeeBeads Chic Lanyard Review and Giveaway

I had never thought of lanyard as a fashion accessory until I came cross BooJeeBeads, a women-owned business that specializes in beaded lanyards, retractable badge reel jewelry, eyeglass leashes, and related accessories. On their website, their declared mission is "to free women around the world from the fashion disaster that comes from wearing an employee ID." In my opinion, they have accomplished more than that!

Unlike their boring peers, BooJeeBeads lanyards are fun and versatile necklaces that you can feel good about wearing. You may use it to display your ID badge, to carry your flash drive, to hold door keys for your little girl, or to match a pendant you love. Be creative! Not to mention that there are so many chic designs to choose from!

To my delight, I recently received the BooJeeBeads™ Pink Ribbon Lanyard for review. This special edition lanyard is designed to honor breast cancer survivors and their supporters with a pretty and practical way to show their commitment to the fight. Handcrafted with glass beads and adorned with pink ribbon charms, this piece comes with magnetic breakaway clasps and a two-way clear ID pouch that works for both horizontal or vertical badges (not shown in my picture). Plus, 10 % of the proceeds from the sale of their pink ribbon product is donated to the American Cancer Society annually.

I proudly wore this lanyard at the BlogHer conference and received a lot of compliments. It was far more eye-catching than the default ad-filled lanyard that came with my BlogHer badge. More importantly, it helped me make a clear statement about my support for the fight against breast cancer.
