Snyder of Berlin Snack Shots Contest & Variety Pack Giveaway

Snyder of Berlin is celebrating its 65th anniversary with a fun Snack Shots Photo Contest. One grand prize winner will receive $1,000 in cash, a digital camera valued at $150 and free Snyder of Berlin snacks for a year! Three Runners-Up will each receive $500 in cash and free Snyder of Berlin snacks for a year.

The contest runs through December 2012. Each month a semifinalist will be selected to win a Snyder of Berlin Party Pack. A lot of prizes are up for grabs with multiple chances to win. Grab a bag of your favorite Snyder product, get a creative snapshot and enter to win. Good luck!

I was invited to sample a variety of Snyder of Berlin chips including The Original, Honey BBQ, Baked Cheese Curls, Kettle Cooked Hawaiian Sweet Onion, and Hot & Spicy Jalapeno. My favorites from the pack are Honey BBQ and Sweet Onion while my son loves the Cheese Curls best. As spicy food isn't agreeable to my sensitive stomach, I asked my mother-in-law, who happened to be visiting, to try out the Jalapeno flavor. She confirmed that it was super spicy and tasty. She finished the whole bag in tears (literally). All the chips are fresh and crispy. I'd love them even more though if they were less salty.

One great thing about Snyder of Berlin products is that they contain No Cholesterol as they are fried in vegetable oil and peanut oil instead of animal fat (lard). They are therefore a safer snack option for those who are concerned about health risks associated with high cholesterol.

Snyder of Berlin products are currently distributed in only eight states, but you can get all varieties (There are a lot!) from their online store. I'd go for the No Salt Added potato chips for my next order. How about you?

The Giveaway
Snyder of Berlin has generously offered to give one of my lucky readers a Snyder of Berlin Variety Pack including 5 bags of chips in Original, Honey BBQ, Baked Cheese Curls, Kettle Cooked Hawaiian Sweet Onion, and Hot & Spicy Jalapeno.  The winner could include these in her photo contest entry. Don't forget to share with family and friends if you win!
