Green Christmas Gift Giving Giveaway Hop: Cascades Children's Cardboard Playhouse

Welcome to the first annual Green Christmas Gift Giving Giveaway Hop!

To encourage everyone to have an Eco-friendly holiday season, Home Grown Families and Just My Everyday Life are co-hosting this great week-long blog hop. Each of the 50+ participating blogs will be giving away a prize package worth $25 or more consisting of Eco-friendly, sustainable, up-cycled, and recycled items, as well as items from independent consultants, authors and Etsy! Please use the linky at the end of this post to enter all the giveaways.

I'm so honored to be part of this multi-blog event featuring a theme I love. The prize I'm giving away here is a Children's Cardboard Playhouse provided by Cascades. It's a $48 value! I'm sure it'll make a perfect Christmas gift for any Eco-conscious family.
Cascades is a Canadian-based company specializing in items made from recycled materials. They offer a variety of Eco-friendly products that make great green gifts for the holiday season. The Children's Cardboard Playhouse is my favorite from Cascades' new line of children's furniture. That's why I picked it for review and giveaway.

Made from recycled cardboard, the playhouse is sturdy yet lightweight. From our experience, it's easy to assemble and dissemble (no glue or tools needed). My son really enjoyed being part of the assembly team and witnessed the stack of cardboard turning into a cute kid-sized house, which includes 2 doors, 4 windows, 2 skylights, a chimney and a mailbox. All the corners have been rounded to reduce the risk of injury. Safe for children aged 3 and above.

The neat thing about the playhouse is that it allows your kid to decorate and personalize it in any way she likes. Just let her creative juices run wild with crayons, water paint, stickers, and any other art media at her disposal! This unique toy not only gives recycled product a second life, but also helps nurture creativity and imagination in children. Plus, kids can learn about the recycling process while having a great time in their own space.

Besides the playhouse, Cascades also offers cardboard tables and chairs that are 100% recyclable and customizable. Be sure to check them out while shopping for eco-friendly furniture for your child's playroom.

Disclosure: I received free product to facilitate my honest review. No monetary exchange took place. All views and opinions expressed are my own.

  17. I think the idea of cardboard furniture for kids is interesting. I wonder how long it would last in THIS house, but how cool to have furniture it's okay to write, draw, and decorate all over without getting into loads of trouble!
