I went to see Cars 2 with my son and husband. The movie is, as expected, exciting, action-packed, humorous, and imbued with wild imaginations. My husband and I were amazed by the level of details the movie got into to depict a car themed world enriched with diverse and fascinating cultural elements borrowed from the real world. The clever and seamless integration of James Bond gadgets and stunts into the Cars world is so cool!

I have to admit though, the espionage aspect of the story is too complicated for a kiddo at my son's age to comprehend. Nonetheless, he remained attached to the movie by its stunning visual and sound effects. He got extremely excited at the sight of Lightning McQueen racing down the track and laughed out loud when Mater was testing his voice-activated disguises.
