Pocoyo Bath Toy Review and Giveaway (48 Hours Only)

Since Pocoyo launched in the U.S. last fall, my son has been a die-hard fan of the show. He is often completely immersed in the story of Pocoyo (“little me” in Spanish) and his gang--Elly (the elephant), Pato (the duck), Loula (the dog) and Sleepy Bird. He loves to mimic whatever Pocoyo is doing in the show, giggling, dancing, hopping and speaking. Pocoyo resembles a real toddler boy in many ways. He is active, playful and inquisitive. He may even throw tantrums like only a toddler can. I guess that's why my son identifies so strongly with the cute, fun-loving little boy.

Pocoyo is definitely one of the best TV series tailored for preschoolers. Narrated by British actor Stephen Fry (Oh, I love his voice!), the show is packed with music, dance and humor, and encourages children to “learn through laughter™”. Pocoyo airs on Nick Jr. (seven days per week at 4.25 pm); PBS stations across 80% of the U.S.; Univision’s Planeta U (Saturday mornings at 8.30 am); and Discovery Familia.

An array of Pocoyo toys are available for purchase at Toys 'R' Us, including various plush and bath toys. I was sent this adorable Pocoyo Water Taxi (SRP $9.99) for review.My son was thrilled to see his favorite cartoon character "jump" off the TV screen in scuba outfit. He had tons of fun playing with it during bath time. He was particularly amused by the water bubbles created through the wheels of the vehicle while it was cruising in the tub.  The Water Taxi also moves freely on the floor or a smooth surface. Therefore, my son occasionally parks it alongside his toy cars.
